be silly, be weird
I challenge you today to Be Silly, Be Weird today.
I don’t know about you but sometimes I let my life get way too serious.
I totally forget to have fun, laugh, enjoy the moment. We owe it to ourselves to create time to be silly.
We owe it to our teens to see us be silly, act weird…..to let loose. They are watching and learning from us.
We have to be a reminder to our teens that it is normal to be themselves and to be silly and weird. That life is to have moments of seriousness and moments of fun.
How are ways you can be silly today?
How about some of these examples:
Play video games with your teen today. Have them teach you how to play Fortnite.
Go out in the snow and actually go sledding instead of watching your kids do it.
Leave work early and pick up your teens after school and do something different.
Start driving your kids to school and take a detour and have breakfast with them first and then head to school a bit late.
Watch a comedy and have an inside picnic.
Our days, especially in the winter can start to blend, it is time we show our teens and create everlasting fun memories with them. We have to teach them the importance of having a good time so when they are adults they don’t take life so seriously.
Practice being silly and weird! It is fun!!
